Here is an email that I had gotten from a Rifleman fan—
Hi Cowgirl, I thought you might be interested in some more trivia concerning an episode listed on your Rifleman web site. The trivia concerns an actor who appeared in the episode The Angry Man, which I've listed here. The actor is George Matthews. I thought I recognized him from playing in an episode of The Honeymooners so I went to a Honeymooners web site and I found that it was him. The episode was The Bensonhurst Bomber - September 8, 1956:
Ralph gets into an argument at the pool hall and has to fight a big guy at the gym. He arranges it so that he can pretend to knock out a bigger man and make the other one scared. Instead he knocks out a stranger, regaining his confidence to go ahead with the fight.
